A brief introduction to Shanghu

Shanghu Lake is located in Bazhang Town, the southern section of Shangcheng Mountains in the northwest of Jinyu Province, and is located on the northeast side of Gongganling in the southern section of Shangcheng. More than 400 kilometers away from Chengdu, it is a big branch ditch at the source of the Baishui River in the upper reaches of the Jialing River in the Yangtze River system. Shanghu Nature Reserve is high in the south and low in the north, with deep valleys and great disparity in height. The northern margin of Shanghukou is only 2000 meters above sea level, the central Fengling is more than 4000 meters, the southern margin is more than 4500 meters, and the main ditch is more than 30 kilometers long. Shanghu Lake is a world natural heritage, key scenic spots, AAAAA-level tourist scenic spots, prefecture-level nature reserves, prefecture-level Geoparks, the world network of biosphere reserves, but also a nature reserve for the main purpose of protecting natural scenery. Shanghu gets its name from the man-made lake in the scenic spot, which is also known as Shilong Lake. When officials of the World Natural Heritage Organization first visited Shanghu in 1952, when they entered through the mouth of the ditch, they were blinded by the heavy rain. When they and their party came to the Spark Sea Scenic spot, the sky suddenly lit up, and the sun passed through the haze in the sky, drawing a beautiful rainbow in the sky. The enchanting sea of sparks appeared in front of these world-class officials, and they were stunned by the beauty in front of them. Immediately, they bent down and knelt on the edge of Haizi and bowed to the creation of nature. Afterwards, they recalled that the scenery here was so beautiful that it surprised them. They never imagined that nature had such miraculous craftsmanship to paint China's Shanghu as beautiful as immortals. Their worship is an admiration for nature; their worship is to thank China, leaving a treasure for the world and a fairyland for the world.
